My name is Alexandra Suriano, I go by Alex. I am a Senior at UCF and I plan to be a Math Teacher, hopefully middle school :) I have always loved math, puzzles, or anything involving numbers! I am from Chicago and moved to Florida 4 1/2 years ago. My mother, who is a Media Specialist at a K-5 school, is the one who actually inspired me to want to pursue a career in teaching. She is someone who really loves what she does and impacts the lives of so many everyday and I hope to be as great of a teacher as she is!
Hello! My name is Cedric Baldini-Morgan. I will be a senior this year at UCF and I am looking forward to graduating with a B.S. in Foreign Language education. I am bilingual in French and English and I enjoy learning Spanish when time to practice is available. I have travelled to five continents and find inspiration in learning about cultures and their customs. I am also inclined to be active and I enjoy a variety of sports such as surfing, cycling and swimming. Therefore, I am considering getting a certification in Phys. Ed as well. I am always on the lookout for new experiences and I love to learn. Teaching offers both of these opportunities and has always been an attractive career to me. Besides, I will be a third generation teacher in my family, so you could say it runs in my blood. =D I am truly looking forward to the beginning of an exciting career and making an impact on the students I teach.
Hi everyone! I am Rachel Perley, current UCF student and soon-to-be Secondary English Language Arts teacher! I love to read and write. I am a native Floridian (yes, I have lived in this quirky state for all 21 years of my life). I am a sucker for the old classic animation Disney movies. I also love digital animation games (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Resident Evil are a few). I am currently set to graduate from UCF in Spring 2011. I am the oldest of five kids in a blended family. I decided to be a teacher when I sat back and looked at my own school career and could count the teachers that I learned a lot from on one hand. My goal is to be able to share my passion for reading and writing with others in the hopes that it will help them as much as it has helped me.
